Tignes France

Myself and my wife have been on many ClubMed trips and always recommend the company to friends and family. We have also been to this resort on a few occasions previously so had a good idea what to expect.
Unfortunately my wife had an accident on the mountain but the service provided by the Health Care team Maxime and Lea went above and beyond anything we could have expected, from arranging transport to take me to meet her at the Medical Centre and Pharmacy to liaising with the Insurance company to ensure every possible thing could be done to make the homeward journey manageable. They kept us fully advised throughout.
A fantastic service which was so much more than expected.

This is the most beautiful, best and most complete Club Med we know. It's grand in every way. One arrives at the entry in style taking the ramp to the entrance where the GO's welcome you, take care of the luggage and escort you inside. A personal employee takes over, invites you to a drink and explains all you need to know. Arriving at the room the luggage is already there ready to move in.
We loved the hotel as it offers so much comfort. High qualitity beds, cushions, sheets and towels. The hotel - village- has the most beautiful swimmingpool (two seperate 25 meter swimminglanes), jacussi, hammam, sauna, high-tech fitness and excerciseroom. There is a beautiful luxurious spa for massage and other threatments. I can recommend the massage 'a mesure' (4 ointments and 4 perfumes to choose from). Thank you Morgane for massaging away the pain in my leggs after two days of skiing :-).
The restaurant was large but cosy, big but not loud, extensive but practically. The bar: very good. The theater slash salon: very nice. And eureka: there is a Coffee bar next to the bar where they serve thé best barista coffee everrrr from 8 AM till 5:30 PM.
About skiing: Tignes and Val d'Isere offers lots of possibilities to ski even in december so no worries there. We would like to thank the skischool ESF and especially the good and friendly care of Olivier 'the man in charge'. He is there to help you with every concern you might have. Our professionnal ski-instructors did a good thing to be partly guides and partly teachers and we appreciated it a lot.
Last but not least we have to say that the little problems we had (room was a little to warm to sleep, a skilocker that would not open,...) where quickly solved in a friendly and professional way which brings us to the main thing we will remember: the GO's (roomservice, skiroom, reception, restaurant, housecleaning,.. everybody) were always professional and kind. Therefore, dear Alex, chef the village, and dear Valentin, chef d'animations, thank you for our great stay!

Wow. Have been all around the world and stayed in some fantastic hotels and resorts but found Club Med in Tignes to be one of the most enjoyable holidays ever. I'm normally ready to go home at the end of a holiday, but for the first time in years I really didn't want to leave.

We booked the Exclusive Collection, and it was definitely worth the additional cost. We were greeted at the Club Med desk at Geneva airport and ushered to a private transport within a few minutes. On arrival at Tignes we were greeted by members of the Exclusive Team in the general lobby area and taken straight to the Exclusive Lounge area for a drink and very relaxed check in process.

Before I go any further I would like to thank the team that looked after us, notably Apple, Ismail, Maicky, Beatriz, Lilie, Marine, Syan and Celia. They made us feel at home throughout our stay and NOTHING was too much trouble for them.

The quality and variety of food in the buffet restaurant was excellent, so much so that we ended up going there every night and most lunchtimes and did not manage to go to the a la carte restaurant. The house wines are included, but there is a comprehensive wine list to suit all tastes and budgets.

We chose to pay to have private ski lessons every day, but the group lessons are included and very well organised. Our instructor, Yves, was very friendly, patient and an excellent teacher. Skiing is very easy here. With the Exclusive Collection you have a private ski room which is staffed at peak times (mornings and lunchtimes) with hot and cold drinks and snacks available. At lunch times a light lunch and drinks were also available and served by the Exclusive Team. From the ski room you only have to walk 50 to 100m to a variety of chair lifts, the resort bus stop that links Val Claret and Tignes Le Lac or the Funiculaire to get up to La Grand Motte glacier.

My wife went to the Spa and said the quality of treatments was very high, far better than she had anticipated in a fairly large resort.

All in all this was a fantastic holiday and we have already booked our visit for next December. I can't wait to get back there.

The GOs are kind and the activities they made were exciting! Thank you for organising the games! I had such a good time the entire week!😄 The food was good the company was good and I love FE-LI-PE(thank you Vincent and Mouck for teaching me this song)
