Great Time, Almost Perfect Time
The skiing experience was awesome! The family had never skied before and Ethan and Lynn had us skiing within a couple of days after taking the Level 1 lessons. The equipment rental and lockers were great and made everything easy. Bring your own goggles and neck gaitor. Beautiful location and facilities. Rooms were great. Food was well thought out and tasty. Hot chocolate was on tap and always available, along with different coffee and alcoholic beverages. The service staff in Le Marche (the buffet) were awesome. They had to put up with rude adults and children, and were professional and did it with a smile. We would possibly not go back though.
Unfortunately, there was no real control over handling of food in the buffet. We had to get in line early to ensure we got food before people touched and sneezed on it. We saw kids sticking fingers in sauces to taste and grown adults being dirty. We understand that parents allowed them to do this, but the cooks, chefs, and food staff were left to the wolves. The food was great, but we were usually limited to the first things we grabbed due to the likelihood of someone touching the food. More staff was needed to help prep food as lines would form waiting for food to be ready. The chefs and cooks were by themselves often and fell behind. We did have a great time, and it was almost perfect. We recommend paying attention to snow levels and make sure to research this. We lucked out with some snow and the slope management crew did a great job grooming. They do produce snow so that helped. We heard late January and early February is a great time for snow. We truly want to thank the staff!! Everyone was helpful, attentive, and professional! The cleaning crews were amazing, as people just let their kids run wild and rude, and the facilities were very clean. If we did go back, it would be because of the great staff. The shuttle service from Quebec airport was well worth it. Martin and Alian were the drivers and were amazing. Also, if you use the shuttle service breakfast/lunch are included as check-in is not until 4:00 p.m. and normally only includes dinner on the first day at no extra charge. They really gave us a tour on the drive to the resort. We did an excursion to horse-drawn sleigh ride. It was really fun, but the amount of snow will impact this. The ride service driver contracted by Club Med was Stefan and he was awesome. Great conversation on the 30-minute ride. The photo packages were really expensive!!

4th return trip!
Club Med Charlevoix always delivers. The staff & facilities are excellent! My only issue is with the ratio of ski instructors to class size - should not be more than 8ppl to allow for individual & group instruction. However I must say that the instructors are very good!

Best ski resort in Canada
The resort is in a great location, with great snow conditions in winter. The snow field is also very timely. I love skiing in and out, it's so comfortable! The all-inclusive skiing lessons at the hotel are the highlight. There are lessons for adults and children. My favorite coach is Ben, an adult level 4 coach. He is very patient and responsible. If you go to other ski resorts, private lessons will cost 100-200 Canadian dollars. The hotel is clean and modern. Although the rooms are small, they have everything you need. The family room with 2 bedrooms is so comfortable! The food and drinks at the hotel are great. Steak, lamb chops, duck are not repeated every night, and there are Asian cuisines! The drinks are much better than the Caribbean resort hotel! Drink every night! There are many children's activities, and the children don't want to go home! The hotel's swimming pool and steam room are great, but they close a little early! There are also many gyms and other activities, so you can't rest even if you don't ski! Highly recommended! We will definitely come back!
