Huge shoutout to Chienyeh Zack LEE and his amazing team for creating such a welcoming atmosphere at Club Med Tomamu. Zack and his managers were super hands on and literally everywhere, from helping with ski boots to performing on stage and greeting guests every meal time.

Bravo to Restaurant Manager Vichy, the cleanliness and attention to detail from the restaurant team were impressive. Luke and Kiran from the ski team were professional and proactive, ensuring we all had a safe and fun time on the slopes.

This was our return visit after 6 years and happy to say it’s only gotten better. Thank you Club Med Tomamu for another memorable ski holiday ❄️

Went snow trekking with ALBERT and he was FANTASTIC! He was very knowledgeable and humorous and kept us laughing all the way. Really enjoy the snow trekking and highly recommend it in Club Med Tomamu with Albert! He is really passionate about his job and didn’t just share snow trekking tips but also tips on relaxation. Thanks a lot Albert for making this afternoon so fun!

CHECK IN:
From the moment we arrived at Tomamu, our experience was nothing short of exceptional. Yuto and Doris welcomed us so warmly at check-in, and their genuine hospitality was a breath of fresh air after nearly 12 hours of exhausting travel. Their kindness, especially towards the children, immediately set the tone for a memorable stay.

KIDS CLUB
The kids attended the mini and petit clubs, and while they were initially hesitant, struggling with a bit of separation anxiety, it only took one day for their excitement to take over. A familiar face made all the difference—Amas. We first met him at Club Med Bintan in December 2024, which was our very first Club Med experience. His warmth, energy, and dedication left such an impression on us that he became a key reason why we chose Club Med again for this trip to Tomamu. Seeing him again brought so much joy to the kids; it was as though they were reuniting with an old friend.

Our kids also had an incredible time at ski lessons. While I don’t know the names of all the instructors, my son, who was in the Tiger group, couldn’t stop talking about Emil, Kaya, Olly, Dino, Patrick and Lucas. Skiing with these instructors was a highlight for him! My daughter, who was hesitant to even attempt skiing at first, ended up joining all the Panda classes with a smile on her face. Watching her overcome her initial resistance and start enjoying herself was priceless.

For our youngest, the petit club experience was equally magical, thanks to Mai, Celina, and Moe. These three remarkable individuals were so loving, patient, and reassuring. It’s incredibly rare for my youngest to separate willingly from mummy without tears, yet under their gentle care, he had a ball. Their genuine affection for the children shone through in every interaction, and I felt that my son was in capable hands throughout.

ADULT ACTIVITIES
Us tired parents had our own adventures too. Jannick, our snowboarding instructor, was an absolute gem. His patience, enthusiasm, and positive energy made learning a joy, even when we struggled in the beginner lesson. He encouraged us every step of the way, creating an experience that was both fun and fulfilling as first-timers.

However, the true highlight of our stay was the snow trek with Albert. We enjoyed the trek so much that we ended up going twice! Albert’s passion for Club Med, the surrounding nature, and his deep knowledge of the resort were infectious. As we walked through the serene forest, he shared insights and stories that made us appreciate the beauty around us even more. He encouraged us to pause, take a step back, and absorb nature’s energy—a rare and rejuvenating experience. Albert is not only a fantastic guide but also a truly outstanding ambassador for Club Med. If you see this Albert, we are the ones that broke a snow-shoe, hugged a tree and took a second trek on a new route with you!

CHECK OUT
Even the final moments of our stay were filled with warmth. The checkout team greeted us with smiles, effortlessly helping with our luggage and loading it into our rental car. Their friendliness and efficiency made it even harder to leave.

From start to finish, the team at Club Med Tomamu exceeded our expectations, delivering an experience filled with joy, warmth, and countless cherished memories. We are so grateful for every individual who made this winter trip unforgettable, and we are already looking forward to our next Club Med adventure.

❤️Club med tamamu team was amazing!
From the moment I arrived till the day we left everything was superb.

It’s our first time to club med and it has exceeded our expectations. The staff were all very welcoming, and friendly. They would remember your name and greet you every time they see you. They made all guests feel like home. We even made friends with many familles during our trip.

Favourite thing about the tamamu in winter:
SKI + Buffet !

Hands down the buffet was the best ever. They have a wide variety of food daily in every meal! Never get bored of it and always wanting a bite of everything. They ensured that the kids felt happy as they would check in whenever they can at our table too.

The ski classes were very structured for kids and adults! It was really well planned out with the timings and equipment rentals. You just have to follow the timings, don’t have to worry too much.

They have a wide range of instructors from various different countries. Some were more experienced, then others but nevertheless it’s a great place to learn how to ski and also good for more advanced ski-ers / snowboarders to enjoy as there are multiple mountains and terrains to choose from!

My daughter loves the graduation ceremony for kids where you could get badges once you advance into the next level of ski-ing, she’s also more of an introvert but despite that she made so many friends!

I’m glad that they have enough instructors as the group classes can get abit crowded. At one time I heard that there were more than 100 of them!

Every night after dinner there would be kids events and shows for everyone to enjoy. Who knew the instructors are all multi talented! They really did put in effort for all the entertainment and activities everyday.

There was also dancing and party every night where most of the staff and instructors all joined in the fun.

We had a very early flight which we had to leave before breakfast time , and the staff prepared bento boxes for us for our departure. We truly are thankful for everything the club med team and provided for our stay which made everything almost perfect.

All in all we would definitely come back again. My daughter loves club med. We can’t wait and We are already planning for the next one. 💕

Our stay was absolutely wonderful, both on and off the slopes!

Ziko and Cody at the reception gave us such a warm and friendly welcome, setting the tone for a great experience.

The restaurant offered an impressive variety of delicious food, and Vichy was especially delightful. The bar team, Ashley and Nicki, crafted excellent drinks that we thoroughly enjoyed.

We tried the group ski lessons during our stay, and as beginners, we had no need to worry about falling— the snow is soft in Japan and the ski instructors were always there to help! A huge thank you to Flo, Ceci, Masa, Marius, & Victor for taking such great care of us on the slopes.

We rented ski suits from the boutique, where Ida and Pipit were incredibly helpful. They guided us in choosing the most suitable sizes, making the process smooth and effortless. Additionally, we rented our ski equipment from the Ski Pro Shop, where Mickey, Kata, and the team provided excellent assistance, ensuring we had everything we needed for the slopes.

The Mini Club GOs, Irene and Jesse, were bursting with energy and made the experience so much fun for everyone at night!

Overall, it was an unforgettable trip, thanks to the amazing staff and their impeccable service!
