Columbus Isle Bahamas

This was a nice relaxing holiday with my wife. Food was great and the weather superb. The water and the surroundings were beautiful. the snorkelling was amazing especially seeing the ship wreck. Property was close to the airport.

Our family visited Club Med over spring break and had an amazing time. Our children ranged from 9 to 15 years of age and never wanted to stop trying new things. All tried the scuba diving in the pool and had a wonderful experience with Kami and are now hooked. Two of the children did the open water dive with Milan and he was fantastic. They are now begging to be certified for future dives. Since neither my husband nor I were certified with scuba, my oldest went on 8 dives over four days and the team was amazing with making him feel comfortable and watching him underwater. All the staff made each kid feel welcomed even though there were not a ton of children. The bartender, Manuel, made endless pina coladas for my children and joked with them as they came to get more. There were many great foods to choose from for the meals. There were always some basic comfort foods, but many new foods for everyone to try. Even Keith from cleaning tables was fantastic with an upbeat attitude dancing and treating us like we were his family. What made the trip the best for our family was Nico, the Teen Club Leader. I never thought of going on a vacation and letting my children go to a club, but it was amazing. He always had fun games to play and activities to do. The children met some new friends that made a difference in their lives. The children all walked to the airport together with Nico because they didn’t want their time to end together. Never have we “walked” to an airport. My one complaint was that the towels were far away from the pool. I cannot say enough about the staff and the experience that we had.

Fabulous! Family reunion of 12 with six being 9-15. Club Med never disappoints and this week was seven days to remember. This was our third time at Columbus Isle Club Med. The highlight of our week was the Teen Coordinator that we really didn't think we would need. However, once our kids and teenagers met Nico he was like the piped piper the rest of the week. Nico is unbelievable with the kids. Don't miss not getting involved with your teen coordinator. The food, surroundings, and especially the GO's were outstanding. It's true that in San Salvador you can walk across the street and go into the gate of Club Med. The Club is so quiet that you feel like no one else is there until activities begin after breakfast. The beach is gorgeous. When you look out at the water, you feel like you've opened up a magazine. Just beautiful. You can't say enough about the food. The chef and staff must work day and night because it's unreal. The white chocolate bread is one that our group is trying to duplicate back in the U.S. Excursions are many. Pandora was a cab driver that took us out to beaches where we could find sea glass. She was great and finding the sea glass and conch shells buried in the sand was perfect. Scuba was enjoyed by three in our group along with snorkeling, sailing, daily games at the pool, and nighttime activities. Club Med always has the best in GO's to teach you what you want to do. Our group used the scuba, snorkeling and sailing classes. Perfect! The only thing our group felt could be deleted might be the nighttime shows after the first night. Casino night was a favorite nighttime activity and of course, the Club Med hand signs after main event or shows was essential before bedtime. The bartenders were great. Our nine year old grandson took on the job of runner with non-alcoholic drinks for the rest of the teen club. Thanks for putting up with all the runs. Looking forward to the next Club Med.

Second time we came as a family for a week in that resort. We are frequently going to various Club Meds and have gone to almost all villages in the Caribbeans.

This club is on one of the most beautiful sites we have ever been to. The sea, the colors, etc., are unmatched.

The guest rooms are starting to be a bit dated, but still very comfortable nonetheless. All the various activities are available, and all make for a very pleasant vacation.

What really stood out this time around was the team of GOs and rest of the staff. Everyone was super friendly, and ready to help for anything we needed, from the housekeeping staffs to the waiters at the restaurants. Best part were the GOs, who really went the extra miles for everything. Animation and shows were great, and their customer service and professionalism was really above and beyond what we see even at other clubs. Nicolas, the head of the village is running a tight ship and doing a great job managing the whole place.

Especially BIG BIG shout out to Guedi, tennis pro and responsible for land sports, as well as Benjamin, head of Sports, thanks to whom the whole family (especially the kids) had a total blast! Thanks you guys!

Our stay at Club Med Columbus was really a wonderful moment to enjoy some shared moments with our adult kids while everyone can do its own activity. A really huge thank you to the amazing ANNA for her wonderful kindness and to ANNABELLE for her enthusiasm as you both helped us to have a wonderful time at Columbus, and a special thank you to ANYA for the massages: you are a magician, able to feel the needs of the body without a word and answer to these needs!
We will be coming again next year for sure, and ANYA's magic massages will definitely be on the program!
