Padel tennis holidays
Padel: the new trend sport coming to our resorts
Take advantage of your stay to discover new sporting horizons with this flagship sport, a mix of squash and Basque pelota. Courts are similar, but much smaller, than a tennis court and surrounded by glass walls. Treat yourself to a game of intense fun.
Padel
what is it ?
Padel tennis, also simply called padel, was officially introduced in Mexico in 1969, but it wasn't until 1974 that the first padel club was founded in Marbella, Spain.
This sport is played 2 against 2, ideal for fun with the family, on a field of 20x10m (¼ less than an ordinary tennis court) surrounded by glass panels. As in squash, it is allowed to bounce the ball off the walls of the court. One of the advantages of padel is that it remains a sport accessible to all, where you quickly learn the first reflexes, whether you are a beginner or an experienced player.
