The Finolhu Villas Maldives

Just got back from an amazing vacation at Club Med Finolhu! Would caveat that this is not quite the ‘usual’ Club Med experience given that it’s part of the exclusive collection. Yet, the pace, number of activities and F&B quality was perfect for us.

Many thanks to our butler, Tara, who was with us from Day 1. We would also like to thank Nattu, who took care of us at the restaurant and practically had our orders memorised by the end of the trip. Marine Biologist, Sham, who taught us so much about the marine diversity of Maldives. It was beautiful to see the coral restoration programme growing (figuratively and literally beneath the restaurant). We believe in the good work she and Club Med are doing for the environment and hope for its continued success. GOs Mossey, Sammy, Mia and Cameron whom we had many enjoyable chit-chats with! And finally Falil and Neo from the Bar who are so talented and humoured us with orders like Coffee Milkshakes and other surprise cocktails.

The trip was one of our personal highlights of the year and we extend our deepest gratitude for the Club Med team who have been part of it! 😊

Cruise did an amazing job as our butler throughout our stay here, from booking the spa till decorating our room and arranging our floating breakfast! Such a beautiful and amazing experience!

It was the best vacation we never had at the club med Finolhu, it is right much better than the Kani resort, 6 stars hotel Service, foods and villa. It is because of the manager, Gaya, she is very kind and considerate, make our stay unforgettable. We really will come back again for our next celebration of the anniversary. Big thanks to Gaya again!!!

I am not really the Sun, the Sand, the Sea kind of people but seeing this beautiful coral island is amazing! Besides the beautiful Sunrise and Sunset, I see baby sharks, Manta rays, Sting rays and many different types of fishes swimming around my villa everyday. Great Hospitality and Services of the staffs also make this trip a memorable one ! At least must go once in a life time !

First and foremost, we would like to thank our butler, Tara, who looked after us with flawless service right from the start. From the introduction to the resort, to helping us with the arrangement of activities and an itinerary, she did much more than one could have expected. We would also like to thank Gaya, who took over the role of our butler for a day when Tara was off. She did a great job in such a short time, making special bookings and even allowing us a late checkout to make the most of our stay.

We would also like to extend our profound gratitude to Mosey, Sammy, and Mia, who made every activity from aqua gym to kayaking and paddle yoga so much fun. Their energy and friendliness brought us so much joy during these experiences.

We are especially grateful to Fina for the time she took to talk with us and share her knowledge about Club Med in Mauritius. She did this by offering some thoughtful suggestions, inside information, and even sharing parts of her experiences, which provided a much more in-depth knowledge of the culture and things to do. Due to her recommendations, we have been able to formulate an excellent idea for our next trip with clarity and excitement, while appreciating her friendliness and desire to get to know us better.

A special word of thanks to Solomon, Hassan, and Raja, who joined us for an incredible two-hour tennis session. It was a great way to balance our indulgence in delicious food with some fun exercise. We especially want to thank Solomon for going out of his way to see us off at the jetty. His kindness was deeply touching.

The bar team, including Rocio, Falil, and Fery, always welcomed us with broad smiles and showed excellent service from the very first minutes of our arrival. Their attention to detail and friendliness contributed so much to the romance of our journey.

Jules and Sola at the restaurant made sure our meals were great. Their interaction with guests and attention to details made every meal even more enjoyable.

Finally, we extend our sincere thanks to Manuel, who frequently checked in on us throughout our stay and ensured we received the best service possible.

Overall, our experience exceeded all expectations, and we couldn’t have imagined a more perfect honeymoon. Thank you to the entire team for creating memories we will cherish forever.
