Kiroro Peak Japan

A big shout out to Tatiana for infusing so much fun and energy into our entire stay. Each time we met her, she never failed to inject more excitement into our stay, ensuring there was never a dull moment. Also, we are grateful to James for going the extra mile to make our dinner reservation possible. We must not forget the crew from the bar: Onat, Alex, Gita, Pang and Kyle, who were always ready to serve us with efficiency and big smiles. We especially loved the special chocolate mocktail that Kyle created for the kids. Last but not least, we must extend our immense thanks to our favourite chef, Charles. Every day at 4 p.m., you'll find my family camped at the lounge waiting for Charles to display his tiny bites. The quality of display, taste, food presentation and service was impeccable. It was so good we often gorged ourselves and became too full for dinner. Chef Shun and Daniel were also excellent. We did not forget Raditto, Tiffany and Hakim, who were always cheerful and helpful. It is true that the location was great and snow was stupendous but it was ultimately all the GOs that made our stay memorable. Thank you so much. Quick final note - the bed was so comfortable we felt like we were sleeping on clouds. Best sleep we've had in years. Best beds and pillows ever!

What better way to show how much we enjoyed our stay at Kiroro Peak than the fact that we EXTENDED our stay! We were booked from 11 to 19 Dec 2024 but ended up cancelling our trip to Nagoya and staying an extra 2 nights till 21 Dec!

• Tatiana (CDV) - she is not only good at what she does but is also a warm, kind and approachable General Manager who genuinely cares for her guests and values their feedback. Got to add a great entertainer and singer too! Thank you for all that you did and the extra mile you went to to make our stay special and memorable! We enjoyed all your sharings and appreciated the creative plan you concocted to surprise the kids on our "last" day. You're amazing Tatiana!

• Agathe - our welcome & service manager who was always so helpful and worked magic tirelessly behind the scenes to help with our requests and made our stay (and extension) seamless and memorable. Cheers Agathe!

• Tom Warhurst - our private ski instructor who brought us all to higher levels than what we started off at. My daughter was skiing red and some black slopes by the end of our trip! Tom is a fantastic instructor who is encouraging, caring and will keep kids entertained with countless games up his sleeve. He is serious when teaching but can let his hair down in the evenings. He made learning skiing so much fun and my kids loved him. Highly recommended! We can't express our thanks enough for your expertise and good company Tom!

• Jamie Martin - another ski instructor who joined us for dinners and kept us entertained throughout. Evenings would not have been the same without his humourous stories and witty banter with Tom. He's the life of any party. Thanks for making us laugh so hard and for the fun memories Jamie, literally!!

• Elsa - our F&B manager who was always so kind and helpful with our requests. Always cheerful and smiling, it was a joy to have her around. We had a birthday celebration and she made special arrangements for us which made it so special and memorable. All I can say is a kiroro birthday party is hard to beat!

• Alex - the best bartender who served us delicious drinks with her personal touch the entire evening!

We also cannot forget Yutaro, Diana, Barth, Nico and Bryan! Thank you for everything and we hope to see you all again!

My family and I will definitely return to Kiroro Peak again next season - or sooner! The memories we created will stay with us forever!

We just left Kiroro Peak after 5 full days of skiing. I’m particularly impressed with quality of the ski instructors and food.

We had good ski instructors in Tomas, Tom, Haru, Collin, and particularly Mersila and Ugo. My daughter has picked up more skills from Mersila who also went the extra mile to take video of her. We came to Kiroro Peak hoping to see her this season and we’re thrilled she returned. We also wanted to thank Ugo who took us up the gondola and brought us down red lines the first time. I wasn’t expecting to progress to red after just recovering from knee surgery 9ths ago and it was Ugo who gave me confidence that I could do it.

Food has improved tremendously from what we saw the previous year and we had different offerings almost every meal.

Housekeeping was a tad tardy as not all items were replenished in the mini bar everyday.

Overall, still a good experience though personally I felt the personal touch was lost a little this year.

Me and my sister have not skied in a while so we decided to take a private lesson with Mersila, and in only 3 sessions me and my sister’s skiing technique has improved. We are so grateful that we have met Mersila because she is inspiring, charismatic and an amazing teacher. Our passion for skiing has grown so much since skiing with Mersila, we are definitely coming back soon.

The first day I arrived in this hotel I met a wonderful lady named Mersila. She has such a wonderful pure heart when I took a private lesson with her I have grown as a skier learnt many skills from her and on top of that she is patient, clear and experienced and she is such a fun teacher every lesson I had with her I always came back with a smile and a great time. She’s honestly everything a teacher can be she is truly amazing. I have never met a teacher as amazing as her so thank you Mersila. I will definitely come back to visit because of you. Emilia ❤️❤️
